Scouts

We have a number of uniformed organisations that meet at St John’s and we currently have spaces in all sections, so if your son or daughter and are aged over 6, please come along and speak to a leader to find out more.

All sections meet on Monday nights in the Church Halls (except for Brownies, who meet in the parish centre), located along Bourne Hill opposite the car wash.

2nd Winchmore Hill Brownies

For girls aged 7 to 10 years.
They meet 6:15pm – 7.45pm in the parish centre adjacent to the church building.

“Brownies have a lot to offer the 7-10 year old girl. Every week there is a variety of different activities varying from Games, Crafts, Fun Out Of Doors, Keeping Healthy and lots more. There are great new Interest Badges, Challenges and lots of opportunities to make new friends. There is also a chance to go on days out, holidays, sleepovers, join in adventurous activities and much more.”

“Girls in Brownies have incredible experiences together, make brilliant friends and discover the world around them.”

All Brownies are sure to try new things and take on a broad range of challenges as they explore the topics that sit within our six programme themes – Know Myself, Express Myself, Be Well, Have Adventures, Take Action and Skills For My Future.

“Brownies introduces girls to a world of new opportunities, challenges and fun.”

If your daughter would like to join us please register on our national joining site at https://www.girlguiding.org.uk/information-for-parents/register-your-daughter/
